If they don’t get a match, they have to turn the cards back over. They have to keep the number or item on the card in their memory for the next turn, in case they should turn over a match.
4. Word Scrambles – Take a spelling list and scramble up all the words. Have your child unscramble them and you will be reinforcing spelling skills.
5. Any Trivia Game – Trivial Pursuit is a popular, commercially available trivia game, as is Cranium. Although for older children and adults, many of the facts in the game will be retained by those individuals
